Welcome to the Chestnut Ridge Horseman’s Club where fun and friendship begin!
The club was founded to promote interest in equine activities. The club grounds consist of acres upon acres of beautiful wooded and open fields. We have a pavilion with a full service kitchen and camping facilities with showers that help promote family fun!
We have access to miles of scenic riding trails that are adjacent to our club. We host monthly Camp & Rides and other social activities including our Annual 3 Day Trail Ride in June & August.
The grounds are available to rent for church groups, family functions, weddings or equine group, 4H groups and etc.
Our club grounds can be located from the Bedford exit of the PA. Turnpike by turning left onto Old Route220. Go four-tenths of a mile and turn left onto interstate 1-99 North. Exit at the Cessna exit (Approximately 3 miles). Follow Route 56 West to Pleasantville (Approx.8 miles) and at the light in Pleasantville continue straight through 1.9 miles still on Route 56 West (Watch for trail ride signs) till you need to tum right after crossing the second small cement bridge, onto Calvary Hollow road. (It is the road to Lovely). Go 2.6 miles till you come to the club grounds on the left. If you are traveling East on Route 56 from the Windber area, tum left onto the first macadam road at the foot of the mountain, (Calvary Hollow Road). Watch for trail ride signs.
